Please review the event listings for the Centennial Celebration of the 1908 Seattle visit of Theodore Roosevelt's Great White Fleet.

 

Become involved!  Come to the Parade of Ships, attend the MOHAI reception and listen to the radio on May 21.  All Seattle Council members and their families are encouraged to attend these events.  Let us know if you would like to attend the May 20 Seattle Council luncheon at the World Trade Center.  Come on down to Terminal 30 between 9 and 2 on May 21 to tour the ships - USS Rushmore and USS Preble.

 

We would love to see you at these upcoming events.  Please plan to attend.  We need more civilians to come acknowledge these heroes in uniform at our events.  You care about our Council's mission and you care about these young people and their commanders we recognize.  Our country is in armed conflict overseas.  These are the people being shot at.  The time is now - not later to come shake their hands.  This is more important than ever. Right now.
